Meet the Griffin Investments Team

Steve Foerster


Steve began his career with Griffin over 35 years ago. Prior to his current position Steve led the company’s corporate development efforts.

In 2015 Steve was tasked with creating Griffin Investments, with a strategy of long-term growth and generational capital preservation. Targeted asset classes include stabilized commercial real estate, oil and gas minerals, private equity, and public equities.

Steve grew up in Oklahoma City, earned a BS from Arizona State University and an MBA from Oklahoma City University. He is married, has two children and one grandchild. He is involved in several nonprofit organizations that center on making life better for disadvantaged children.

Tony Welch, CCIM

Vice President of Investments

Tony is responsible for our commercial real estate investments and content distribution with cable and satellite carriers. When we want to accurately predict performance of an investment or a business opportunity, we turn to Tony. His past business experience has served him well as Griffin has expanded and grown in the recent years.

Tony believes strongly in servant leadership and is driven to be the best father and husband he can be while also helping others grow and succeed. Tony gives back to our community by coaching his children’s teams and donating his talents to Sunbeam Family Services.

Tony LoPresto

Chief Financial Officer

Leading the strategic financial initiatives for Griffin is our very own “Bleed Orange” Cowboy. Having worked at KPMG, LLP and Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores prior to joining Griffin, Tony has a wealth of financial acumen and experience that he uses while positioning Griffin for future growth.

Tony gives back to the community through his involvement in the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association Board of Directors, the Oklahoma State University Foundation Board of Governors, the Oklahoma State University Athletics Council, the Heritage Hall Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors of the Economic Club of Oklahoma.

Taylor McIntyre

Director of Investments

Prior to joining the Griffin Investments team, Taylor McIntyre managed Dakota Royalty Group, which provided individuals and family investment offices opportunities to directly invest in Oil & Gas Minerals to build a diversified, investment grade mineral portfolio. Taylor has developed proven systems and strategies to consistently identify, value, and close transactions.

Taylor grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated with a Finance degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. During his time at ORU, Taylor excelled in its collegiate baseball program, where he was a four-year starter and was named a Freshman All-American. When Taylor is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, who is his high school sweetheart, and their four children.

Christen Haller

Investment Coordinator

Christen Haller coordinates our investments from acquisition to disposition and performs asset management functions for Griffin’s investment portfolio of mineral and real estate assets. Christen’s prior professional background as a paralegal and title examiner provides a unique set of skills to efficiently handle the complex administrative needs of a diversified investment portfolio. 

Christen is involved with the Putnam City North High School choir and orchestra booster club, and volunteers with the Oklahoma Food Bank and the Oklahoma Humane Society.
